President of Hestia Construction, LLC
Licensed Realtor & Team Leader of The Street Group at Space & Company
After graduating from Temple University, Rachel built an incredibly diverse career in mortgage banking, loan servicing, real estate, and construction. Her unique skill set, combined with a firsthand knowledge of the different neighborhoods in Philadelphia, help her match her clients to the perfect home in their ideal location, and create spaces that will not only be beautiful and functional, but also result in a maximum increase in property value.
Rachel is also a classically trained singer, and has lived abroad in both Italy and Mexico. She is fluent in both Italian and Spanish, and runs a free English as a Second Language program for adults in South Philadelphia. Rachel continues to perform as a classical musician throughout the city.
Rachel began her career at her family’s commercial real estate business as Loan Servicing Manager, managing a portfolio of up to 23 loans with an aggregate principal balance of over $100 million, and then moved on to becoming a Mortgage Analyst and Commercial Loan Originator, helping to underwrite and close over $300 million of commercial loans. She also completed extensive studies toward becoming a General Appraiser through The Appraisal Institute and obtained her Pennsylvania real estate license. Working alongside her father, Rachel assisted in property management and commercial development, learning the ins and outs of the trade before beginning her own smaller residential development projects in Philadelphia. There, she discovered a passion for bringing neglected properties back to life through design and, seeing a need for something other than the “builder-basic” homes on the market, she founded Hestia Construction, LLC.
Whether it’s a first time home buyer or an experienced property investor, Rachel’s clients benefit from both her in-depth understanding of property valuation, finance, design, and construction, as well as her genuine excitement to show off the city she loves.
